Khrushchev in love

I’m finishing up transcribing an interview that someone else conducted for a class.  It’s pretty interesting, but I felt weird when it got to this part, which, even though neither person has met me, was about me:

Him: Um, I hope you’ll put it into correct English verse.  I would appreciate that.

Her: They won’t proof your English.

Him: Pardon?

Her: They won’t proof your English.

Him: Oh, no, NO!

Her: They won’t proof mine either, though.

As it turns out, no, I won’t.  Hopefully they’ll forgive me for that.
